With your help, The Animals in War Memorial Fund will finally recognise the deeds of all animals that worked and died alongside their masters in wars and campaigns during the 20th century,

Within this web site you will read about examples of the heroism and loyalty of animals that this monument means to commemorate. You can find information on how to make a donation, the supporters we have backing the project and much more.

A message from Jilly Cooper, Vice Chairman of the Fund: "Thank you for taking the time to visit our web site. Your help is vitally important. Countless millions of innocent animals served and died terrible deaths beside our British and commonwealth armies during the Twentieth Century. They had no idea why they had been drawn into our conflicts and acted solely out of loyalty and love.

It is a national disgrace that Great Britain is the only Commonwealth country not to honour such selfless heroism. The Animals in War Memorial Fund will redress the balance by building a beautiful monument in Park Lane as a constant reminder of the debt we owe our animal allies. Remember them all - they had no choice."
